About Lucy

Systems don’t make systems. People make systems. People can change systems too.

Lucy is a multifaceted professional, blending roles as a trainer, project manager, mentor, facilitator, and non-executive board director. Her expertise extends across a diverse range of clients, including governments, not-for-profits, educational institutions, and the corporate sector.

Lucy is very familiar with change and in fact gets bored without it. She thrives on challenging conventional thinking, grounding her approach in evidence-informed strategies while championing locally responsive, co-designed, future-thinking outcomes.

With an extensive background spanning nearly two decades in public service focusing on creating community connections and improving systems, she then stepped ‘outside the box’ and co-founded a highly successful project management company, that started by leading community-wide health and wellbeing programs, and then grew into a multi-faceted capacity-building company supporting organisations across the country.

As a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Lucy embodies integrity, has the ability to think critically, focuses strategically and is often praised for her communication style. Lucy is an inquisitive, dedicated non-executive director and a corporate governance enthusiast who is always championing contemporary governance processes. Lucy has been published in peer reviewed literature and presented her research at international conferences.

Whether it is through her directorships or her consultancy and facilitation work, the public good is always front and centre for Lucy, as she strongly believes there are many opportunities for organisations to ‘do good’ whilst they ‘do good business’. Assisting her clients in reaching their full potential is where Lucy finds great joy and fulfilment. She collaborates to implement change, enhance policies, streamline processes, and strengthen governance practices. Moreover, she empowers them and their teams to develop their capabilities, enabling them to effectively carry out their crucial work in enhancing the quality of life for all.
