  • Healthy and Connected Communitites

Do you understand the financial, social and emotional impact that poor health has on our communities?

Do you get frustrated and feel powerless to make a change?

Do you get lost in the volume and magnitude of evidence?

Sometimes the job just feels too big with too many barriers; from short-term funding cycles to building and maintaining partnerships, creating buy-in, understanding the evidence, and meeting local needs, all while fulfilling organisational obligations and grant requirements.

Motivating people to look after their health is a huge challenge and the systems that govern our health and community sectors are complex, politicised and often disconnected.

Lucy know’s these challenges well and she has turned her successful evidence-based and practice-informed 6-step framework into a suite of tailor-made online workshops for community champions.

Lucy will teach you how to successfully identify local needs, create successful partnerships, find and maintain funding, apply the evidence and share the success to enable communities to become more connected and healthier for the long term.

This training package comes with all the bells and whistles that you will need to implement a project in your community following our 6-step framework:

    • Find a need

    • Find a partner

    • Find The funding

    • Develop and Deliver

    • Evaluate

    • Share the story

This course is full of useful strategies to help you get started the right way, right away.

  • "In theory, a planning day sounds dull. But Lucy made the day enjoyable: she skilfully used props, analogies and humour. She ensured that everyone was heard, and that at the end of the day, there was a consolidated position from which to goforward. She had previously studied the topic and had a good understanding. I have already highly recommended Lucy.“
